A Quiet Room is committed to making both our physical space and our website accessible to everyone, irrespective of any legally protected characteristic, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Our physical space

Practical information about wheelchair access, ground- and first-floor rooms, service dogs, sensory needs, Covid-related arrangements, and other considerations relating to attending in person can be found on our Accessibility page. We welcome enquiries about any specific needs and will do what we can to accommodate them.

This website

We have built this website with accessibility in mind. Our aims include:

— clear, readable typography with adequate contrast
— logical heading structure for screen readers
— meaningful alt text on images
— keyboard navigation throughout
— no auto-playing audio or content that flashes
— minimal pop-ups or interrupting elements

We aim to meet the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We are not legally required to publish a formal conformance audit, but we welcome feedback if anything on the site is hard to read, navigate, or understand.
