I am a sensitive, compassionate and down-to-earth therapist with over 20 years professional experience working across public, private and charitable sectors.
I trained in person-centred counselling and psychodynamic therapy (postgraduate diploma, University of Edinburgh), and I’m an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I was a Staff Welfare Officer in the civil service for many years. For the last decade, I worked in university counselling services (with students and staff), most recently in a management role.
As my therapeutic work with clients has evolved, my approach has become more integrative. I have a great deal of experience in providing both short-term solution-focussed counselling and long term / open-ended therapy.
