Hi, I’m Meg (she/her). I’m an integrative therapist, trained in both psychodynamic and person-centred approaches to counselling. This means that I believe that our earliest relationships and experiences continue to impact how we relate with the world in our present, and that we each have tremendous capacity for growth. Above all, I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship – a collaborative space where you can feel seen, heard, valued, and supported.
At the heart of my practice is the provision of a warm, non-judgemental, and safe space where you can feel accepted exactly as you are. As your therapist, I believe that my role is to be alongside you as you explore what feels most important to you, moving at your speed and offering the support that best honours your needs.
Before I became a therapist, I worked as a qualified dietitian and I have a particular interest in working with issues around diet culture, body image, body shame, and challenging relationships with food in many forms. I also work with clients around a wide variety of topics like relationship difficulties, identity, self-esteem, grief, loss, anxiety, stress and burn-out, depression, and trauma.
