Our Space

Nestled in a quiet side street just off Bernhard Street in Leith, and literally a stone’s throw away from a tram and bus stop, A Quiet Room by the Shore, occupies part of a modern office building extending over two floors.

We currently have three individual therapy rooms at ground floor level with two more on the first floor, where we also have a bright, generous group and seminar space. This also serves our community as a social space during breaks and hosts our regular gatherings. Our therapy rooms have lovely names. They are called The Woodland, The Munro, The Meadow, The Sands, The Cove and The Clearing.

There is also a reception area, kitchenette and toilets on each floor. Our tea/coffee facilities and cookie jars are always replenished, and we always have fresh flowers in each therapy room.

Our ground floor premises are accessible from a low-level pavement to support those with mobility needs. There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.

We have dedicated parking spaces and free on-street parking available at the back of our building.
